Kelly earned her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College in 2019, and is currently working on her doctorate in Counseling from Minnesota State University- Mankato. Kelly specializes in helping adolescent and young adult female (ages 12-25) navigate the complex challenges of trauma, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). With a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological struggles that many young women face today, Kelly provides a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences and begin the healing process.
Kelly aims to help individuals find their own joy, acceptance, and peace through talk therapy and mindfulness practices. Kelly’s goal is to teach and guide her clients to find the best coping skills for their tool box. Her work is grounded in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness practices, tailored specifically to address the distinct concerns of young females. With a compassionate, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma-informed lens, Kelly works collaboratively with each client to identify their unique needs and help them build resilience, coping strategies, and a sense of self-worth.
Kelly strives to create a comfortable and safe place for you to share and explore your mind freely! She believes that you are capable of change and confidence, and hopes that through therapeutic conversations and exercises, your inner power feels easier to access. She feels privileged to be a therapist and share this space with you.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys attending music or sporting events, heading up to Castle Island for walks, or a simple movie marathon day.
