Dr. Nelsie Berberena is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a rich background in various settings, including outpatient therapy, neuropsychological testing, and integrative health psychology. She has experience supporting children and adults with diverse symptoms and diagnoses, offering a compassionate and client-centered approach. Dr. Berberena tailors each treatment plan to her clients’ unique needs, providing flexibility and adapting as progress is made. Dr. Berberena specializes in treating severe mental health, trauma, abuse, chronic pain, medical illness, grief, OCD, and ADHD. Her therapeutic approach incorporates elements of Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

Originally from New York and raised in South Florida, Dr. Berberena completed her bachelor’s in psychology at Florida International University in 2016. She earned her Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in Virginia Beach in 2023. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and baking.
