Offering in-person and telehealth sessions
Danielle completed her undergraduate degree at Boston College from the Lynch School of Education where she studied Applied Psychology and Human Development. It was there that she fell in love with the world of psychology and she quickly became eager to learn more in order to help people understand themselves and others. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, she continued her education at BC and earned her masters degree in Social Work with a focus on Mental Health.
Danielle is currently working towards becoming independently licensed as a social worker, and is supervised by Dr. Bryan Harnsberger, Psy.D. Her background includes working with children, teens and young adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, and the overall stress and confusion that life’s journey can bring. She has experience working in both schools and private practices.
Danielle’s work incorporates a mixture of approaches that focus both on evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychoanalytic techniques that seek to understand how family, upbringing, and environment ultimately influence how each person sees the world.
Danielle believes that everyone has the resilience to help themselves, especially when they are equipped with guidance from a nurturing therapist and strong support system. Danielle’s hope for her clients is that they may create a custom toolbox catered specifically to their style and needs so that they ultimately find the self-confidence to address their struggles with as much ease and compassion as possible.
