Cooper is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience empowering adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including private practice, academia, and community health. Cooper uses a person-centered and strength-based approach along with the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused interventions. Cooper has expertise treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, phase of life issues, work and academic stressors, and relationship problems. 

Cooper offers unwavering warmth, curiosity, humor, an open mind, and unconditional positive regard to all his clients. He provides a safe space to take positive risks and create lasting change. In therapy with Cooper, you can expect to learn practical tools to help you work through life’s challenges and rediscover your own sense of agency. Cooper uses his background in Social Work to help people expand their communities and find a sense of belongingness. Simply by reaching out you are taking a courageous first step on your path to wellness.

Cooper is licensed in Massachusetts and Connecticut. With a Bachelor's Degree from St. Lawrence University and a Masters in Social Work from Wheelock College (now Boston University), he combines his education with a wealth of hands-on experience. In his free time, Cooper enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. When they aren’t catching a Boston Sports game, they can be found exploring the outdoors, or listening to music.
