Anthony is a strengths-based, caring clinician, whose clinical training is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adults. In addition, Anthony commonly utilizes therapeutic skills from different approaches to best support each individual. Some of Anthony’s clinical experience includes treating children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, impulse control/hyperactivity, OCD, socialization, autism spectrum disorder, grief, and trauma.
Anthony prioritizes evidenced-based practice, with a focus on tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs. Treatment is client-centered, skills-based, and goal-oriented. Anthony values authenticity, collaboration, humor, unconditional positive regard, and commitment. He believes all people are good at their core, and deserve empathy and support.
With a background working primarily in outpatient therapy settings, Anthony has experience collaborating with clients and family members (when clinically appropriate) to best support their goals and interests. Anthony is passionate about assisting parents in understanding and supporting their child’s needs, as well as adults looking to navigate their own challenging life stressors.
Anthony has a clinical interest in teaching parents clinical skills to support therapeutic interventions at home and in the community.
Aside from his work as a counselor, Anthony loves to be outside, often fishing or hiking, and enjoys reading and cooking.
